OUR MISSION

Our mission is part of a humanitarian effort. We never ask for financial support from the sailors, nor will we ever engage in any type of business. All participants in our program willingly pay their own expenses.

The COVID-19 pandemic stopped our work, but we are working to start up again. In our last active year, we visited 344 ships in the port of Montreal and were able to talk with men speaking 26 different languages.

We are a small group of volunteers who take safety and security very seriously.

All participants receive both classroom and on-site training, and must go through an application process. Some of our participants have been visiting ships for decades and we have an excellent safety record.

We understand that there are many different religions and cultures, however in carrying out our work, we have found that most are dealing with the same issues.

Our goal is to provide them with Bible principles that can help them deal with what they may be facing. We highlight the Bible’s promises of better times to come, and everyone’s desire for a better and happy future.
